2-Storke Ain't Dead, I don't care what Stihl says

Below is a graphic to help clear the 4-stroke confussion.  Stihls' 4-mix technology is a hybrid of a pure 4-stroke engine.    The 4-stroke engine technology has been around since the early 90's.   If it is so great, why didn't Stihl, Ryobi, Craftsman, & Shindiawa to name a few, use it then?   The answer:  The EPA was not as strict then, and their engines were still allowed on the market.  Now, the EPA has become tougher in their requirements, and their engines no longer pass emission tests.  Thus the Stihl dealers, among others, will tell you that the 4-stroke, and 4-stroke hybrids are the way of the future.   The truth is, that ECHO has equipment that passes EPA emmissions tests for now, and well into the future.
